Protection that makes upkeep easier
A ceramic coating bonds to the surface and forms a hard, glossy layer. Water beads and runs off, dirt and road grime have less to cling to, and the car is quicker to wash.
The surface has to be right first. Every coating starts with decontamination, and paint that has swirls or dull patches can be machine polished beforehand, so the coating locks in a better finish.

Coating over new paint protection film or a wrap starts from £200 +VAT. A coating on painted bodywork is priced on quote, because the cost depends on the size of the car and how much preparation the paint needs first.

Gloss and depth
A coating sharpens reflections and deepens the colour, on gloss paint as well as satin and matt finishes.
Easier cleaning
Water, mud and brake dust come off more easily, so washing takes less time and needs less scrubbing.
Works with PPF and wraps
A coating over paint protection film or a new wrap helps it keep its finish and makes it easier to look after. Coating doesn’t stop stone chips, though. PPF does that.
Coating over PPF and wraps
A ceramic coat is often the final step on a PPF or wrap job here, sealing the film so it beads water and sheds dirt. The film underneath carries its own manufacturer’s warranty: up to 8–12 years for PPF and up to 2–4 years for wraps, depending on the film.

How it works
- Quote: tell us your car, its condition and whether it has PPF or a wrap. We’ll send a clear price.
- Prepare: we decontaminate the surface and, if you choose, correct the paint first.
- Coat: we apply the coating panel by panel in our climate-controlled studio.
- Cure and collect: the coating cures before you collect, and we give you simple aftercare advice.
How long it takes
Time in the studio depends on what’s being coated and how much preparation it needs, so we confirm it when we quote. If the coating goes on with new PPF (2–7 days) or a wrap (2–10 days), it’s applied and cured within that booking, before you collect.

Do I need paint correction first?
Not always. Every coating starts with decontamination. If the paint has swirls or dull patches, correcting it first means the coating seals in a better finish, and we’ll advise once we’ve seen the car.
Does ceramic coating stop stone chips?
No. A coating makes the surface glossier and easier to clean, but chip protection needs paint protection film.
Can you apply the coating at my home?
No. Coatings are applied and cured in our climate-controlled studio near Harrogate, where dust, damp and temperature are under control.
How should I wash a coated car?
Hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo and a soft mitt, and avoid brush car washes. We’ll give you aftercare advice when you collect.
