Families on the school run past Collingham and Boston Spa want shade for the back seats. Drivers heading south on the A1(M) want less glare when the sun is low. Tint helps with both, keeps the cabin cooler and blocks the UV that fades leather and trim.
UK law sets the limits we fit to:
- Windscreen: at least 75% of light through
- Front side windows: at least 70%
- Rear side windows and rear screen: any shade you like

Shades run from 5% (darkest) to 70%. We hold samples against your glass in the studio, so you see the result on your own car before anything goes on.
Chameleon tint
Colour-shifting film for the windscreen and front side windows, metered so it stays within the legal light limits. Choose from red, orange and purple; green and gold; or blue and purple. Windscreen from £180 +VAT, front pair from £120 +VAT.
Headlight tinting
Smoked film for your head or tail lights from £60 +VAT per pair, or clear PPF to protect expensive light units from A1(M) and A58 stone chips (priced on quote).
Tint removal
Old film gone purple or started to bubble? We strip it, clean off the leftover adhesive and can fit new tint in the same visit. from £100 +VAT.

A morning drop-off, an afternoon collection
A full car tint takes 2 to 6 hours; just the front side windows is 1–2 hours. If you’d rather keep a car, we can arrange an Enterprise rental through our partnership. How to find us from Wetherby
Unit 7 Marrtree Business Park, Grimbald Crag Close, Knaresborough HG5 8FA, on the eastern edge of Knaresborough.
- Via the A168: head north out of Wetherby alongside the A1(M) and follow signs for the A59 towards Knaresborough. We’re a few minutes west of Junction 47.
- Via the A661: go through Spofforth, then follow the road to Knaresborough.
Either way, it’s around 10 miles and usually about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. There’s parking at the business park.
